We feel incredibly fortunate to have met Konnie when we did--our 7 year old daughter has loved horses from a very young age, but she ended up with parents who don’t know a whole lot about them. Our daughter’s time with Konnie has taught her so much more than just riding.  Konnie builds relationships with her students teaching them about how to care for a horse, how to tune in to the horse’s needs, and get to know all aspects of horsemanship.  She creates all an unpretentious, respectful learning environment.  Konnie is full of passion and love for what she does.

Konnie is all about forming a partnership and developing a relationship with the equine. Her passion for connection is highly developed.  And in that sacred space good training naturally flows. The horses she has worked with are soft and supple and full of love.

 

Konnie is a great teacher, especially because she is very patient and understanding. She knows that people are going to get scared sometimes, so she’s always there. She has put so much of her time into helping Penny, and also making sure that I know how to help her too. I have learned a lot from her, and I am so glad to be having lessons from her. I did not learn nearly as much where I was before, and I really thank her for that.
